PACKAGING OF FREE FLOWING MATERIALS
Free flowing materials like plastic granules, steel balls used in ball bearing industry, bottle crowns used in the soft drink industry dye stuff, powder, flour etc., exerts pressure on the sides of the package like how water does to the sides of a water tank . During transportation the product settles down due to vibrations increasing the pressure on the side walls of the package. This deforms the package and reduces its stacking strength, affecting in tears at its seams
Our package design engineers will analyse your product to determine its bulk density and recommend the proper volume and geometry of the package. Suitable sleeves and inserts will be developed which will resist bulging of the sides of the package. Depending on the nature of the product and its filling and dispensing requirements appropriate design of box will be worked out. The performance of the new design will be tested on the basis of relevant test protocol.
